'Path to the Draft' recap: Jacksonville Jaguars drafted well

Did you miss Thursday's edition of "Path to the Draft" on NFL Network? Catch up with this recap:

Evaluating the Jaguars' draft class

Daniel Jeremiah said he liked the Jacksonville Jaguars' selections in the 2013 NFL Draft, saying both Luke Joeckel and Johnathan Cyprien were the correct picks. Jeremiah said Cyprien has tremendous upside and not to let the fact he went to a small school deceive you.

No more excuses for Locker

Charley Casserly said there are no more excuses for Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker. Casserly said the pieces have been put in place and that the Titans are a playoff team with a serviceable quarterback.

Davis on Freeman

Charles Davis said the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' quarterback job is Josh Freeman's now and will be his job until the end of the season and will be Josh Freeman's job moving forward. Davis said Freeman will be the Buccaneers' quarterback in 2014 and moving forward.

Casserly on the Panthers' draft picks

Casserly said he agreed with the Carolina Panthers' selection of Star Lotulelei instead of getting an offensive weapon for quarterback Cam Newton. Casserly said this was the case because the Panthers already have two productive defensive ends in Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy, but needed defensive tackles to complement them. Drafting Lotulelei and Kawann Short could make the Panthers a dominant front.

Let's talk fantasy

Michael Fabiano joined us to talk rookie wide receivers and their fantasy value. Fabiano said Tavon Austin should be the top rookie wide receiver drafted this season. Fabiano doesn't expect DeAndre Hopkins to make an impact this season, even though he is the best number two wide receiver the Houston Texans have had in a while.
