FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Receiver Tiquan Underwood, best known for a high-top fade haircut and for being released on the night before the Super Bowl, has been cut again by the New England Patriots.
The Patriots let him go on Thursday to make room for defensive lineman Gerard Warren.
Warren has spent the last two seasons with the Patriots.
Underwood played in five games for New England in 2011 and caught three passes for 30 yards. He was released on Feb. 4 - the Saturday night before New England's 21-17 loss to the New York Giants in the Super Bowl - and re-signed three days later.
