Penn State's Allen Robinson has decision to make on his future

Though Penn State coach Bill O'Brien said he expects star wide receiver Allen Robinson to play Saturday, there's a possibility a sore shoulder sidelines Robinson.

Robinson, a junior, leads the Big Ten in receptions (77, the only one with more than 55) and receiving yards (1,106, the only one with more than 950) and is sixth in TD receptions (six). He hurt his shoulder in last week's loss to Minnesota but returned to the game.

"He's got a little bit of a shoulder issue, but we expect him to play in the game Saturday," O'Brien said at his weekly news conference.

If he does play, it might be one of the final times Robinson (6-foot-3, 210 pounds) suits up for Penn State. Former Penn State quarterback Matt McGloin, now with the Oakland Raiders, recently said he believes this will be Robinson's "last year in a Penn State uniform," according to the website theschoolphilly.com. Robinson himself has been asked numerous times lately about bypassing his senior season to turn pro.

"I really haven't thought too much of it at all," Robinson told reporters. "It's definitely not something that I try to think too much about."

Before the season, Robinson said finishing his telecommunications degree was important and that he was on track to graduate in December.
