The Seattle Seahawks are in a familiar position this week when it comes to Percy Harvin's status. They aren't sure if the wide receiver is going to play.
Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said Harvin still has not been cleared to practice Thursday. He's going through the league's concussion protocol, and it's unclear if he'll be ready for Sunday'sNFC Championship Game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Carroll said that receiver Doug Baldwin would be the "next man up" on kickoff returns if Harvin is out. The good news here: The Seahawks are used to playing without Harvin. He had one catch in the regular season, and was knocked out of last week's win over the New Orleans Saints after only four touches.
Here are the other injuries we're tracking heading into championship weekend:
- Tom Bradyreturned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice with an illness and shoulder injury.
- The Denver Broncos' entire active roster was available for practice. They are rather healthy entering Sunday's AFC Championship Game.
- Wide receivers Aaron Dobson (foot) and Kenbrell Thompkins (hip/concussion) remain limited. Their status remains the biggest question for the New England Patriots heading into Sunday.
- Niners defensive coordinator Vic Fangio wouldn't commit to cornerback Carlos Rogers (hamstring) getting his job back as the team's nickel back, even if Rogers is healthy enough to play.
