Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas returned to the practice field on Friday after missing two sessions while nursing his injured shoulder.
Coach Pete Carroll said that the team will continue to keep the All-Pro limited in practices, but isn't worried about his availability in Super Bowl XLIX.
"Earl's going to be fine for next week," Carroll said of Thomas, per the team's official website. "It's going to take him all the way to game time. We'll keep him from getting banged. But he'll be fine by game time."
Thomas is listed as questionable on the team's weekly injury report, but Carroll said the safety could play this week if the Seahawks had a game.
"It's over. It's over, really," Carroll said. "It was two days of him being very uncomfortable with the setting. It's over now. He was back in action and full flow today."
The rest of the Seahawks on the injury report were all listed as probable: DE Michael Bennett (not injury related), T Justin Britt (knee), LS Clint Gresham (neck), RB Marshawn Lynch (not injury related), CB Richard Sherman (elbow), G J.R. Sweezy (ankle).
For the Patriots, Brandon Browner (knee), Dont'a Hightower (shoulder), Chris Jones (elbow), Brandon LaFell (shoulder, toe), Sealver Siliga (foot), and Bryan Stork (knee) were all listed as questionable. Tom Brady (ankle) was listed as probable.
