The Bengals have beaten the Ravens six out of the last seven times, but the Ravens lead the overall series, 13-11.

Keep your eye on ...

Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh: Houshmandzadeh didn't see any preseason action because of a lingering hamstring injury, but he said he's ready for the season opener against Cincinnati's AFC North rival. "I'm ready to lock and load," he told Bengals.com. Houshmandzadeh has caught a TD pass in four out of the last five games against the Ravens.

Ravens QB Joe Flacco: The Ravens' first-round pick went from being out of contention for the starting role to No.1 after Troy Smith fell ill and Kyle Boller suffered a shoulder injury. Flacco was 8-of-13 for 72 yards in his final preseason start and looked comfortable directing the offense by the time he took his last snap.

Rookie RB Ray Rice: The Ravens' second-round pick makes his NFL debut Sunday, but he's taken plenty of reps with the first team, as starter Willis McGahee sat out the preseason while recovering from knee surgery. Rice collected 146 yards on 26 carries in four preseason starts.
