Who will be Bears' go-to receiver? Just seven of Jay Cutler's 21 pass attempts went to wide receivers in the Bears' preseason victory over the Broncos, as running backs and tight ends got the majority of the throws. Given that the starters will have limited game exposure to the Soldier Field turf on Thursday, it is clear that Cutler will go into the regular-sesaon opener in Green Bay without a clear No. 1 receiver.
Sorting out that Browns secondary:The Browns released Rod Hood -- who was a starter for the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII -- on Monday. That leaves the team with one less veteran presence in the secondary, where Eric Wright and Brandon McDonald are expected to start at corner, and Hank Poteat, Corey Ivy and rookie Coye Francies are left to compete for the remaining nickel and dime spots.
