Quick Take: Eagles/Cowboys

In Brief

» Last meeting:Miles Austin's 49-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter propelled the Cowboys past the Eagles, 20-16, in Week 9.
» Streaks: The teams have split their last 10 meetings, and Dallas leads the overall series, 55-44, including the playoffs.
» Last week: Philadelphia got a late field goal from David Akers to edge Denver, 30-27. ... Dallas shut out rival Washington, 17-0.

Keep your eye on ...Austin's big-play ability: Before the year, Austin was a little-known reserve not expected to play a huge role. Now, he is a Pro Bowl receiver, and has become Tony Romo's go-to target. He scored the winning touchdown in the first meeting between these teams, and his presence opens things up for tight end Jason Witten to work the middle of the field.

Ken Hamlin's discipline: Philadelphia possesses one of the league's most explosive offenses and DeSean Jackson is a menace for defensive backs to deal with down the field. Hamlin must keep his focus in deep coverage, or he may wind up seeing Jackson sprint past him for a touchdown.

Trent Cole's motor: The Eagles' defensive end is an outstanding pass rusher, and makes much of his impact due to his relentless effort and energy. He will need to be at his best to disrupt Romo, who is enjoying one of the hottest stretches of his career.
