Ranking games in order of intrigue
Why this game is intriguing: There's nothing very sexy about this game. It's not a matchup of rivals, and there isn't a ton of overwhelming star power (though there might be, after Julio Jones is done). Instead, this will just be a really good contest. A tough, fundamentally sound defense will take on Matt Ryan's well-rounded offense, which is still searching for just a little bit more. Kansas City coach Romeo Crennel has a big opportunity to start his official tenure off right.
What to watch: The receivers. With all due respect to Matt Cassel and Ryan, this one is all about the dudes who catch the football. Jones and Roddy White comprise one of the NFL's best tag teams, while Jon Baldwin and Dwayne Bowe are K.C.'s odd couple. Both teams can run the ball, but an interested observer might hope they don't. That will give us more time to see if these receivers can go get it.
