Keep your eye on ...
McNabb's protection: In two games against the Giants last year, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was sacked 15 times. While the Giants are second in the league with 30 sacks this season, the Eagles have done a pretty good job of protecting McNabb, who has been sacked just 13 times in eight games.

Samuel's impact: CB Asante Samuel was signed by the Eagles during the offseason to give them an extra line of defense vs. strong receiving units like that of the Giants. He will have a chance to prove his worth against the team that defeated him in Super Bowl XLII when he was a member of the Patriots.

Ward off the bench: Of running backs with at least 50 carries, New York's Derrick Ward has the best per-carry average at 6.1. He spells starter Brandon Jacobs throughout the game and is an instant threat when he checks in from the sidelines. Both Ward and Jacobs will be challenged by a defense that is giving up just 89 yards a game.
