Brandon Jacobs scored on a 3-yard run late in the first quarter to give the Giants a 14-3 lead. Seattle was never able to mount a serious challenge the rest of the way.

Despite leaving with an injury in the second quarter, WR Domenik Hixon still had a career outing for the Giants. Coming into the game, Hixon had 94 yards receiving in his career. In less than a half of work Sunday, he had 104 yards and a touchdown. He also added a 15-yard run to help New York jump on Seattle early.
Key stat
The Giants had 342 yards of offense in the first half, the most any team has had in the first half this season. Pretty much any play New York offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride called worked to perfection against the shell-shocked Seahawks.

Giants OT Kareem McKenzie left the game with an injury and did not return. ... Seahawks QB Matt Hasselbeck injured his leg in the first half but returned.
