Russell's knee:Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell missed last week's game, and he might not return this week. Russell has tendinitis in his right knee along with a bruised bone in the same area, so the Raiders will be keeping a close eye on him this week in practice. Andrew Walter will start if Russell can't go.
Who's running for Miami: Ricky Williams topped 100 rushing yards last week for the first time since the end of 2005. Williams is becoming a bigger part of the offense, splitting time with Ronnie Brown, who hasn't topped 60 rushing yards in the Dolphins' last five games. But Brown has scored 10 touchdowns in his last eight games.
Oakland's personal menace: In the last two weeks, the Raiders have allowed an opposing defensive pass rusher to have a big game. Falcons DE John Abraham had three sacks and a forced fumble in Week 9 and Panthers DE Julius Peppers had three sacks and two forced fumbles last week. Now Oakland must contend with Joey Porter, who has 11 sacks in the last seven games and leads the NFL with 12.
