Quick Take: Rams (0-5) at Ravens (3-2)

Last meeting
On Nov. 9, 2003, the Rams beat the Ravens, 33-22, behind Jeff Wilkins' four fourth-quarter field goals and Marshall Faulk's two first-quarter touchdowns.

Streaks
The Rams have won the previous two meetings, but the teams have played each other only three times, and the Ravens won the series debut.

Last week
Gus Frerotte, replacing injured starter Marc Bulger, led the Rams on three scoring drives, but he also threw three interceptions in a 34-31 loss to Arizona. ... The Ravens relied on their tough defense again in a 9-7 victory over San Francisco. The offense, however, was stuck in neutral. Kicker Matt Stover connected on three field goals to account for all of Baltimore's scoring.

At stake
The Rams are still searching for their first victory. The Ravens are looking for their second consecutive win -- and an identity on offense (some things never change).

Key matchup
Ravens offense vs. itself.
Baltimore has weapons on offense. Willis McGahee is in the league's top five in rushing, and Derrick Mason leads all receivers with 44 catches. But the Ravens, who haved scored just one touchdown in the last 10 quarters, continually get bogged down in the red zone. Injuries to quarterback Steve McNair, tight end Todd Heap and numerous offensive linemen haven't helped. But the lack of production inside the red zone has been perplexing to the Ravens, who have the 11th-ranked offense in terms of yards but are No. 21 in scoring.

Did you know?
The Ravens need one win to reach 100 franchise victories. ... McNair needs one rushing touchdown to tie Kordell Stewart (38) for third all-time among NFL quarterbacks.
