» If you thought the hype surrounding Robert Griffin III was big before, you haven't seen anything yet. RG3 dropped a 40-burger on the New Orleans Saints in the Superdome. This happened.
» It's hard to overstate how good the game plan was for Washington, which came away with a 40-32 victory. Griffin's first six passes were behind the line of scrimmage. His seventh went for 88 yards. The Redskins threw an array of screens, option plays and rollouts at the Saints. New Orleans had no answer.
» Griffin made great decisions all day. He knew when to run and knew when to throw. He went through his reads. He looked like a veteran.

Saints in Week 1 on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. ET.
» It's a whole new year for the Saints. They didn't trail by more than 10 points at home all last year. They were behind by more than that for most of this game.
» The Saints' offense had a bunch of three-and-outs. Drew Brees threw an interception just when it looked like New Orleans would be in position to tie the game. The 32 points don't tell the story. Call it Jim Haslett's revenge.
» London Fletcher made one of the key plays of the game, preventing a potential touchdown to Darren Sproles when the Saints were trying to make a comeback in the second half. Fletcher is ageless.
