Texans WR Kevin Walter scored his second receiving touchdown of the day, a 39-yarder in the third quarter that gave Houston a 27-6 lead. Walter fell after making the catch, but Bengals DB Jonathan Joseph failed to make contact with him while he was on the ground, allowing the former Bengal to get up and run uncontested into the end zone.

Andre Johnson recorded 143 yards on 11 catches, completing a month in which he totaled 41 receptions, 593 yards and two touchdowns.

The Texans, who entered the game having allowed 15 touchdowns in 16 red-zone trips, held the Bengals to field goals in two first-half trips inside the 20. They also forced a fumble in Cincinnati's only red-zone trip of the second half.
