Quick Take: Titans-Jaguars

In Brief

» Last meeting:Jaguars QB David Garrard passed for 323 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-17 bludgeoning of the Titans in Week 4.
» Streaks: Jacksonville has won three of the past four meetings, but trails the overall series, 17-12, including the playoffs.
» Last week: Both teams were on a bye.

Keep your eye on ...The Titans' state of mind: When a team with Super Bowl aspirations starts out 0-6, cracks are sure to develop. The only way for Tennessee and coach Jeff Fisher to escape the barrage of criticism that has come their way this season is to win a game, and what better time to do so than against a division rival that already clobbered you earlier in the year?

Chris Johnson's breakaway speed: Despite the Titans' offensive woes this season, Johnson has played extremely well. The second-year rusher is averaging 6.3 yards per carry and 7.9 yards per catch. Look for Tenessee to try and get Johnson involved early and often against a Jacksonville rush defense against which he gained 83 yards earlier this year.

Jacksonville's rushing attack: Simply put, the Jaguars win when they are able to run the ball effectively. Since 2006, the team is 16-4 in games that they gain at least 150 yards on the ground. Six different players got carries in Jacksonville's Week 4 win over Tennessee. Expect to see a similar reliance on a diversified ground game this time around.
