OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -Former Ohio State quarterback Troy Smith was one of four rookies the Baltimore Ravens signed to three-year contracts Tuesday.
The defending AFC North champions also signed University of Maryland offensive tackle Jared Gaither, who was a fifth-round supplemental pick. Yamon Figurs was also signed as a wide receiver and return specialist, and linebacker Prescott Burgess was also signed, the team said.
The Ravens hope that by the time training camp begins Sunday at McDaniel College in Westminster they also will have signed first-round guard Ben Grubbs and fullback Le'Ron McClain.
