FOX Sports insider and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reported Sunday that the Redskins face a "hefty" fine from the NFL for their handling of RG3's concussion, suffered in last Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The Redskins described Griffin as "shaken up" after the injury, but the NFL wants its 32 teams to "immediately acknowledge a head injury to prevent concussed players from getting pushed back on field," Glazer reported.

It's no surprise Washington's handling of RG3's injury landed on the league's radar. We'll monitor this one closely in the coming days.
