Redskins' London Fletcher gives kids history lesson at Newseum

You might expect to find 16-year NFL veteran London Fletcher holding court in the locker room, but last week he put away the pads and accompanied a group of Washington-area high school students to the Newseum, an interactive media museum in the nation's capital.

The Washington Redskins linebacker said he enjoys coming to the Newseum and thought a visit would be beneficial to the teens in his London's Bridge Foundation.

"There's so much stuff and history that you see in this building and really put a sense of reality to some of the things they hear about and that they learn in school," Fletcher said.
