Reggie Wayne out for Colts; Richardson questionable

The Colts will march into Sunday minus the services of Reggie Wayne. Indianapolis might also be without running back Trent Richardson.

Chuck Pagano told reporters on Friday that Wayne will miss the team's Week 8 meeting with the Steelers because of the elbow injury the veteran wideout sustained in last week's win over the Bengals. Wayne was noticeably bothered by the elbow down the stretch against Cincinnati before missing practice all week.

The 35-year-old pass-catcher is second on the team with 38 catches for 434 yards and a touchdown over seven starts. His absence means that T.Y. Hilton and Hakeem Nicks will see primary snaps in two-wideout sets with Donte Moncrief and Griff Whalen picking up the slack behind them.

The Colts also listed Richardson as questionable after he missed Friday's session with a hamstring injury. If he isn't able to suit up Sunday, look for Indy to lean on Ahmad Bradshaw on the ground with backup Dan Herron also seeing snaps.
