Darrelle Revis, whose recovery from a major knee injury has been chronicled on this site by player health and safety chief correspondent Andrea Kremer, was traded Sunday from the New York Jets to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
After the deal, which was contingent on Revis passing a physical, he signed a six-year contract with the Bucs. According to NFL.com, the new contract is a unique deal.
As for the Jets, they received a first-round draft pick in the trade.
The Bucs also play the New York Jets in Week 1 in September.
