Injured and apparently unhappy in Denver, wideout Eddie Royal requested to be traded from the Denver Broncos, multiple sources told The Denver Post.
It appears the disgruntled receiver won't be going anywhere, however. The Post also reported that Royal has not generated much interest from other teams, possibly because he has not played since Week 2 because of a groin injury.
If he stays in Denver, Royal, 25, would seem to fit in as a key member of the team's young receiving corps along with Eric Decker, Demaryius Thomas and Matt Willis.
Royal only has four receptions for 51 yards in two games this season but has had at least 37 catches and 345 yards each season since joining the NFL in 2008.
