A couple of Indianapolis Colts assistant coaches have swapped jobs, Indianapolis' WISH-TV reported Monday, with Ron Turner becoming the team's quarterbacks coach and Frank Reich taking charge of the wide receivers.
Turner, 57, who just finished his first year on Colts head coach Jim Caldwell's staff, is heading into his 35th season as a coach. He previously sandwiched tenures as the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator (in 1993-95 and 2005-09) around eight seasons as head coach at the University of Illinois.
Reich, 49, has spent three seasons with the Colts after two years as a coaching intern with the team.
