Report: Green Bay Packers LB Nick Perry has surgery

Green Bay Packers linebacker Nick Perry is facing a possible trip to the injured reserve list after having surgery on his left wrist on Tuesday, Lance Allen of WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee reported.

The Packers have not commented on Perry's status yet, but ESPN Milwaukee cited an NFL source Tuesday night in reporting that Perry likely is out for the season.

Perry, the team's first-round draft pick (No. 28 overall) in 2012, hurt his wrist against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 1. He played subsequent games with the injury, but has missed the Packers' past three games after hurting his knee against the Houston Texans in Week 6.

The former USC Trojan has 18 tackles and two sacks on the season.
