Are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers cooling on a potential trade for Darrelle Revis?
Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reported Wednesday the Bucs might ultimately pass on making a move for the All-Pro cornerback if the New York Jets continue to demand three draft picks in return.

The Jets reportedly seek the Buccaneers' 13th overall pick, along with a third- and fifth-round selection, according to the newspaper, but it's undetermined if the latter two picks would come this year or in 2014.
Stroud reports that Bucs coach Greg Schiano and the team's front office -- "growing impatient" with the Jets, according to one report -- agree that the asking price is too high, especially when the Bucs appear to be the only suitor.
ESPN reported Monday the Jetsput trade talks "on hold" while Revis had his surgically repaired knee examined in New York. An MRI suggested the cornerback is ahead of schedule, and Revis has been cleared to run, a level of progress the Jets hope will hike up the price in a swap.
The pantomime for leverage wages on, but the Bucs -- desperate for a cornerback -- benefit from a draft deep with secondary help. Schiano told the Times he isn't scared to start a rookie at the position, one who won't cost the team multiple draft picks and a king's ransom.
This dance is far from over.
