Report: Joe Flacco's brother declares for NFL draft

Another Flacco is trying to make it in the NFL.

Mike Flacco, University of New Haven tight end and younger brother of Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, has declared early for the 2014 NFL Draft, according to The Baltimore Sun.

A former 31st-round draft pick of the Baltimore Orioles, Flacco ended his professional baseball career last year, gained 30 pounds of muscle and set his sights on football. The 26-year-old enrolled at New Haven and was selected as a third-team Division II All-American this season. It marked his first organized football participation since high school.

Flacco will be represented by Joe Linta, the same agent who helped Joe Flacco secure a $120.6 million contract last March. Mike is a considerable longshot to crack an NFL roster. The odds he joins his brother's tax bracket are even greater.
