The Detroit Lions continue to look for depth at wide receiver.
With Nate Burleson and Ryan Broyles coming off season-ending injuries, the Lions lack experience and explosiveness after Calvin Johnson. Mike Thomas and Kris Durham (better known as Matthew Stafford's teammate at Georgia) are the current top backups (which last season caused tight end Tony Scheffler to line up at receiver during many sets).

Looking to add veteran depth, the Lions will work out free-agent receivers Laurent Robinson, Steve Breaston and Chaz Schilens this week, CBSSports.com reported Monday.
Robinson worked out with the New York Jets on Monday and is the most dynamic player of the group, but he's had concussion issues in the past. Breaston is a former University of Michigan standout who struggled last season with the Kansas City Chiefs and had questions about an inflamed knee that was rumored to have kept him from signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Schilens was a bit player with the Jets last season.
If Burleson and Broyles don't return fully healthy, it seems Megatron again will play a solo act without much help from a second fiddle.
