Former Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans has helped himself quite a bit during the draft process, going from a likely mid-first-round pick to a potential top-10 pick.
He's apparently even getting consideration from at least one team drafting in the top three.
Evans will visit the Jaguars, who hold the draft's third overall pick, on Wednesday, according to FOX Sports' Pete Schrager. The former Aggies star is among a seemingly ever-expanding list of top prospects making their way to Jacksonville this week.
NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Wednesday that WR Sammy Watkins will visit the team this week, and Watkins is still considered the top wide receiver in the draft, with Evans positioned as the clear No. 2. The Jaguars' prospect-palooza this week includes visits from QB Johnny Manziel, OT Greg Robinson, LB Khalil Mack, LB Anthony Barr, QB Teddy Bridgewater and QB Derek Carr as well.
It's looking like it will be pretty safe to say the Jaguars aren't going to look back at this draft and regret not doing their due diligence on one of the top players available.
