Report: Thieves race off with ex-Bear Gault's Super Bowl ring

Former NFL speedster Willie Gault would like to catch the person who stole his Super Bowl ring.

TMZ.com reported early Friday that Gault, a wide receiver on the Chicago Bears' 1985 world championship team, had his Los Angeles home burglarized, and among the reported $100,000 in jewelry that turned up missing was the prized Super Bowl ring, which includes 40 diamonds.

Drafted out of Tennessee in 1983, Gault played five seasons in Chicago followed by six years for the Los Angeles Raiders. He finished his career with 333 receptions for 6,635 yards and 44 touchdowns.

Gault had 33 catches for 704 yards with a touchdown during the Bears' Super Bowl season
