With trade rumors swirling, Richard Sherman will not attend the opening of the Seattle Seahawks offseason workouts.
NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sherman plans to report in May, before organized team activities begin.
TheMMQB.com first reported the development.
The Seahawks have been transparent about their willingness to trade the Pro Bowl corner this offseason, for the right price.
Sherman skipping the opening of voluntary conditioning workouts isn't necessarily a big deal. Plenty of veterans decide to work out on their own as opposed to team facilities. The prospect of a potential pre-draft trade makes Sherman's absence more notable than most, but nothing over which Seattle fans should pull their hair out.
