Kelvin Benjamin caused much consternation among Carolina Panthers fans this offseason after being limited by two separate hamstring injuries.
Coach Ron Rivera said Thursday at a charity golf event that he's heard good reports on Benjamin's health and fitness and expects the receiver to be full-go when training camp opens on July 30, per The Associated Press.
Rivera tossed gas on the fretting fire when he suggested in June that Benjamin's issues could be weight related.
If KB returns to training camp fully healthy and in shape, the Panthers will boast an intriguing group of wideouts. Benjamin, rookie Devin Funchess and tight end Greg Olsen create a distinctive, towering pass-catching group for the often-scattershot Cam Newton.
