The first rule of the New England Patriots' media policy: Don't talk about the problems of former New England Patriots players. The "CBS This Morning" news crew learned that Wednesday during an uncomfortable moment in their interview with tight end Rob Gronkowski.
Gronk, who has been out promoting a book, was lucky that his brothers and father were there with him. Their laughter helped ease the tension in the situation before Gronkowski got up, almost left and then returned when the reporter promised to change the subject.
This interaction could be a preview for what is sure to be an uncomfortable first few days of Patriots training camp as players handle questions about Aaron Hernandez.
