Roddy White questionable for Falcons-Panthers tilt

The Atlanta Falcons saw the return of an old friend on Friday.

Roddy White practiced with the team and looms as a game-time decision for Sunday's tilt with the Carolina Panthers, coach Mike Smith told reporters, per ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure.

The Falcons officially listed White as questionable after he practiced for the first time since injuring his hamstring in a Week 5 loss to the New York Jets. It's anyone's guess if he'll play, but it's a positive sign that Matt Ryan will have more than just Harry Douglas and Drew Davis at wideout.

Atlanta's passing game entered the campaign with freaky talent, but injuries to White and Julio Jones, who is out for the year with a broken foot, have stripped the Falcons to the bone. Ryan was hit 11 times in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, underscoring the Falcons' deepest weakness: a super-shaky offensive line.

The schedule doesn't help. After the Panthers, the Falcons face a stretch run that includes the Seahawks, Saints, Packers and 49ers. Welcome back, Mr. White.
