Rodgers gives holy thanks for Hail Mary completions

Aaron Rodgers doesn't tweet during football season. Now that the grind is over, the Packers quarterback returned to social media with some gratitude for the heavenly powers above.

Rodgers is referring, of course, to his two unforgettable Hail Mary completions this season. Just for fun, let's revisit them.

We start with Rodgers' miracle Week 13 61-yard completion to Richard Rodgers on Thursday Night Football.

I maintain this is the greatest Hail Mary pass in NFL history, given the height, distance and accuracy involved.

Rodgers' second miracle toss came on an even bigger stage, the divisional playoffs with a shot at the NFC title game on the line. Once again, Rodgers bought time and delivered a perfect strike to a streaking receiver, this time Jeff Janis.

The Hail Mary against Detroit was named the "Bridgestone Performance Play of the Year" last week at NFL Honors. Thank God.
