The New Orleans Saints received a boost Wednesday with the return of wide receiver Marques Colston and cornerback Tracy Porter to practice.
Both players have missed the last two games with injuries -- Colston a broken collarbone and Porter a calf injury.
Saints coach Sean Payton said Colston, who was limited in practice, will play Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As for Porter, nothing was revealed on his playing status, although The Times-Picayune reported that Porter was a full participant Wednesday.
Mixed in with the good news was some bad.
Both center Olin Kreutz (left knee) and right tackle Zach Strief (right leg) did not practice Wednesday, meaning Brian de la Puente and second-year player Charles Brown were getting work at positions with the first team.
