Sam Bradford (shoulder) returns to Eagles practice

Will Sam Bradford be ready to roll for Philadelphia on Sunday?

The Eagles quarterback returned to practice on Tuesday after missing the past two games with a shoulder injury, per Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Video of the session showed Bradford flinging passes inside the team's practice facility just one day after coach Chip Kelly acknowledged that Tuesday would serve as a "big test" heading into Sunday's tilt with the New England Patriots.

The injury is to Bradford's non-throwing shoulder, but Kelly wants to see a fully healthy passer, saying Monday, per Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News: "If you have some instability in your left shoulder ... you're susceptible to something if you get hit. Can he handle that? Can he take a hit so it's not something that's going to affect him long-term?"

Bradford put together a strong November before the injury struck in a Week 10 loss to the Dolphins. Hitting 44 of 61 throws for 531 yards with two touchdowns and no picks last month, Bradford remains a better option than skittish backup Mark Sanchez.

Coming off two brutal losses that saw Philly allow a combined 90 points, the fading Eagles (4-7) need a spark. Getting back the team's best signal-caller would serve as a start.
