Saturday's Week 17 tripleheader on NFL Network: How to watch Chargers-Patriots, Broncos-Bengals, Cardinals-Rams

The NFL's playoff picture will continue to take shape on Saturday, as a trio of games featuring four teams in the postseason hunt unfolds on NFL Network. Saturday's tripleheader is also available to stream on NFL+.

Here's everything you need to know about Saturday's action.

Who is playing in NFL Network's Week 17 tripleheader?

  • Los Angeles Chargers (9-6) at New England Patriots (3-12); 1 p.m. ET
  • Denver Broncos (9-6) play at Cincinnati Bengals (7-8); 4:30 p.m. ET
  • Arizona Cardinals (7-8) play at Los Angeles Rams (9-6); 8:10 p.m. ET

The Patriots are eliminated from playoff contention at this point, but if Week 16 against the Bills was any indication, they don’t plan on going out easy. Drake Maye is showing improvement week by week and, despite a lopsided record, the rookie has done a lot of things well for this Patriots team. The Chargers, conversely, are on the verge of clinching a playoff spot with a win here.

As far as playoff chances go, this is a must-win for both teams. The Bengals will be eliminated from playoff contention with a loss, so expect to see the Joe Burrow laser show continue in Week 17. The Broncos lost to the AFC West-rival Chargers in Week 16, dinging their playoff chances, though Denver is certainly still in the hunt. They need a contingency win here before playing the Chiefs in Week 18.

The Cardinals are officially out of playoff contention, but the NFC West implications loom large here. If Seattle wins on Thursday night and Los Angeles loses on Saturday, Week 18's Seahawks-Rams matchup will be a showdown for the division title. In short, the Rams need a win here to secure their playoff chances. Arizona will be fighting to spoil them.
