SEATTLE -- Seahawks rookie linebacker Aaron Curry left Sunday's game against Tampa Bay in the second half with a left shoulder stinger.
Curry was hurt in the third quarter after being part of a pileup near the line of scrimmage. He was down just briefly before coming off under his own power. He was examined on the sideline for about 10 minutes and was announced as probable to return to the game.
But early in the fourth quarter, Curry remained on the sideline moving his left arm in circles.
Coach Jim Mora said afterward that Curry couldn't get any strength back in his shoulder and arm and that was why Curry was kept out.
Curry was probable for Sunday's game with a hip pointer. He had one tackle against the Buccaneers before leaving.
Seattle also lost long snapper Kevin Houser to a shoulder injury that required him to go to the hospital after the game for additional exams, Mora said. That forced backup cornerback Kelly Jennings into action as the Seahawks' long snapper for one punt snap in the fourth quarter.
Mora also said reserve receiver Ben Obomanu suffered a hamstring injury.
