- MaxPreps reported that the Seattle Seahawks will host the first USA Football High School Football Media Day on July 20. It will educate area players while making top area players and coaches available to the media.
- The Brown Girl With Long Hair Blog, run by the wife of former NFL player Scott Conover, said she is encouraging her son to play football because of the Heads Up Football program.
- USA Football's Heads Up Football Blog talked to the Heart of America Pop Warner Football vice president David Reynolds, who says the Heads Up Football program resonates with his group.
- The Morris (Ill.) Daily Herald reported on how the community's youth football program was taught the Heads Up Football program.
- USA Football announced there are three stops left for its 2014 Protection Tour, with visits to Cowboys and Giants training camps. It also will stop at Northwestern University in Chicago.
