Apparently, not everyone loves cheese.
In advance of Sunday's heavyweight showdown between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks, one city is banning Wisconsin's favorite product.
The city manager of Bainbridge Island, just west of Seattle, said in an executive order that the ban on cheese is in part because, "Fans of the Green Bay Packers are frequently seen wearing obnoxious wedge-shaped foam hats painted yellow," per CNN.com.
To be fair, the prohibition is only for Friday and applies solely to employees at city hall -- though we guess more than a few "12s" will take the idea and run with it.
Packers fans were none to pleased that Seattleites would ban brie, bar blue cheese, embargo gouda, prohibit provolone, restrict ricotta, suppress Swiss and banish butterkase.
Some suggested not drinking coffee -- or more specifically Seattle-brand coffee.
One Milwaukee radio station, however, will get back at the state of Washington in its own way. WLWK-FM will "Say No To Seattle" prior to Sunday's matchup. The station won't play song by Seattle bands, such as Pearl Jam or Nirvana.
