On Sunday against the Panthers, Julio Jones became just the fourth player in the Super Bowl era to record 300 receiving yards in a game. Here's a recap of how Jones got there, and the social reaction that was to follow.
1:12 p.m. ET: Jones gets a 22-yard reception on the Falcons' first play from scrimmage.
1:13 p.m.: On the very next play, Jones hauls in a 14-yard reception.
1:14 p.m.: For the third straight play, Matt Ryan finds Julio. This time it's a 15-yard reception.
1:37 p.m.: Jones hauls in his first 40-plus yard catch of the day. It would hardly be his last.
1:58 p.m.: Jones hauls in his sixth catch of the day, this one a 53-yarder that gets the Falcons into the red zone.
2:21 p.m.: Jones snatches an 18-yard reception, getting him all the way up to 170 receiving yards late in the second quarter.
3:02 p.m.: It's now a 200-yard receiving day for Julio, as he hauls in a 32-yard reception to put him at 216 yards for the day.
3:51 p.m.: Jones sprints his way to the 300-yard mark with a 75-yard touchdown catch. He finished the game with an even 300 receiving yards on 12 catches (25.0 yards per reception).
