All week the Steelers and Bengals talked about the bad blood between AFC North rivals.
Sunday morning, the blood boiled over.
Per NFL Media's Aditi Kinkhabwala, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati players got into some sort of pregame donnybrook before Pittsburgh's 33-20 win. The melee surrounded Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict -- a villain among Steelers players.
Burfict hit Steelers star Le'Veon Bell in Week 8, injuring the running back for the season. Many Pittsburgh players were miffed at the linebacker's celebration after the hit and believed at the time that Burfict was aware he'd injured Bell.
