Veteran offensive lineman Max Starks visited the Pittsburgh Steelers on Tuesday, according to a league source, and also took a physical.
Starks, who spent seven years playing in Pittsburgh, was let go during the preseason, but he could help the Steelers after their injury woes and performance issues across the offensive line.
Starting left tackle Jonathan Scott didn't play Sunday against the Houston Texans after being carted off the field with an ankle injury the previous week in Indianapolis.
Starks made seven starts for the Steelers last season.
