Steelers' Mike Tomlin categorizes George Pickens (hamstring) as doubtful to play Sunday vs. Eagles

The Pittsburgh Steelers will likely be without No. 1 wide receiver George Pickenson Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

On Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin described Pinkens availability for Sunday as doubtful.

Tomlin noted during his Tuesday news conference that while Pickens could theoretically suit up versus the Eagles with a hamstring injury, it's an outside chance.

Pickens popped up on the injury report on Friday due to a hamstring injury. Tomlin noted that the issue is worse than it initially appeared. The Steelers top target missed Sunday's 27-14 win over the Cleveland Browns.

Pickens leads the Steelers with 850 receiving yards and 55 catches to go along with three touchdowns. For a 10-3 Pittsburgh squad, ensuring the big-play threat is healed for a playoff run is more vital than having him for Sunday's intrastate squabble.
