Steelers' Polamalu, Woodley ready to go against Bengals

As expected, Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu (concussion-type symptoms) and linebacker LaMarr Woodley (hamstring) will start Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, according to a league source.

Both players were listed as probable on the team's injury report Friday. Woodley hasn't played since Oct. 30, while Polamalu was injured last Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs but practiced Thursday and Friday.

Meanwhile, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to wear the protective sleeve/glove on his fractured right thumb for the rest of the season, according to the source. Roethlisberger took all of the first-team reps Friday despite aggravating a thumb injury during practice on Thursday.

Linebacker Larry Foote (hamstring) will be a game-time decision.
