SAN ANTONIO (AP) -A look at Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens' day in training camp Wednesday:
WATCHING AGAIN: Owens was back on the sideline, this time in shorts. He got another day to rest his sore hamstring by not taking part in either of the two workouts after also being held out Tuesday by coach Wade Phillips. On Tuesday, he was in uniform, minus helmet and shoulder pads.
TAKE A BREAK: Cowboys owner Jerry Jones welcomes the break that Owens is getting. "Frankly, we haven't been able to get Terrell to cut back," Jones said. "He's going to take his and everybody else's reps out there, so we've tried to work with him to try to get him to cut back."
NO COMMENT: Owens refused to respond to reporters' questions after both workouts. He stopped and signed autographs for fans after the morning session, and smiled while signing a few items for some young children. But when he finished signing, he left the field without answering any questions. He didn't sign or talk after the afternoon practice.
HANGIN' WITH ROY: Midway through the afternoon session, Owens was standing on the sideline beside safety Roy Williams. That drew the chant of "T-O, T-O" from the men's group from Williams' church in the Dallas area that attended workouts as part of a retreat. Owens smiled as he turned and acknowledged the group.
