Texans' Foster practices, Kubiak optimistic on RB's status

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster practiced Wednesday, leaving coach Gary Kubiak optimistic that he would not miss any more time due to a hamstring injury.

"He's fine. He should be OK heading to the rest of the season now, hopefully," Kubiak said Wednesday, according to the Texans' Twitter. "He's a hell of a player. We've been missing him in situations in games, but Ben (Tate) has done a hell of a job, too."

Foster sat out the team's opener against the Indianapolis Colts before returning in Week 2 to carry the ball 10 times for 33 yards. He did not play Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

The Texans face the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 4.
