The Texans ruled out linebacker Zac Diles for Sunday's road game against the New York Jets, the *Houston Chronicle* reported Saturday.
The Texans confirmed the news Sunday, when they listed Diles as inactive. Diles, who has 71 tackles this season, will be replaced by rookie Darryl Sharpton, according to the Chronicle.
Diles didn't practice this week after he was sent to a hospital and diagnosed with dizziness and heart palpitations. He was later released.
Diles, who's 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, is expected to return in time for the Texans' AFC South showdown with the Tennessee Titans.
