Texans select K Randy Bullock

HOUSTON (AP) - The Houston Texans have selected Texas A&M kicker Randy Bullock in the fifth round, days after Neil Rackers signed with Washington.

The 5-foot-9, 205-pound Bullock is the first kicker drafted by Houston. He won the Lou Groza award, honoring the nation's top kicker, after connecting on 25 of 29 field-goal attempts in 2011.

Bullock, born in Klein, is the 14th Texans draft pick who was born in the state. Texans coach Gary Kubiak is a Texas A&M alum.

Rackers went 32-of-38 on field-goal attempts last season for Houston. A free agent, Rackers signed with Washington on Wednesday.

Earlier Saturday, the Texans selected Georgia center Ben Jones, Michigan State receiver Keshawn Martin and Nebraska defensive tackle Jared Crick in the fourth round.
