College football players are getting viral attention this offseason with some pretty spectacular displays of athleticism, and the latest must be seen to be believed.
Texas kicker Nick Rose pops a short field goal through the uprights midway through a backflip, with some help from Longhorns backup quarterback Trey Holtz.
The number of attempts it took before a good take could be captured on video is a mystery. Regardless, kickers are definitely trending. We've seen in the past week a tongue hold for a kick, as well as a nose hold.
And it's not the first time the backflip has been incorporated, either. Recall the backflip catch from North Carolina A&T running back Tarik Cohen.
